About Me:
Hi. I’m Andy. I’m a native of Morgantown, West Virginia (“Take Me Home Country Roads”) and studied at Syracuse University (“Go Orange!”), where I ran as a member on the Cross Country and Track & Field Teams. I started my education with the belief that I was going to become a broadcaster, but found my love for Geography in my sophomore year @ Syracuse. I obtained a B.A. in Geography with a focus in Geographic Information Systems. I also minored in Public Communications with the Newhouse School. Since college, I have worked both in the public sector as well as the federal sector for companies such as Walt Disney Imagineering, the United States Census Bureau, Measure UAS Inc, and Aerodyne Measure Inc (where I currently work). More recently, I have broadened my knowledge and fascination for Web Development, specifically related to GIS applications. In my personal time, I love to program, make maps, drink coffee, and fly my Phantom 4 QuadCopter. (See images below)
